Rupesh Kartha is a Director of Machine Learning and Personalisation at Rally Health, where he leads teams responsible for end-to-end machine learning, personalisation, and A/B testing. His team leverages user's health data, including medical claims, lab results, surveys, prescriptions, and EHR, to create insights and make predictions, based on which they provide recommendations to users. The objective is to help users stay healthy and reduce the cost when care is needed. With over 22 years of relevant experience, Rupesh has worked with several companies, including eBay, where he was a Senior Engineering Manager for Machine Learning Platform and Personalization and Data Platforms. At eBay, he created a machine learning platform where scientists and engineers could quickly and easily train models using frameworks and languages of their choice, leveraging eBay's large data sets and at scale. He also evolved eBay's personalization platform services with new features, improved availability, and data quality. He built an identity service that further enabled advertising, personalization, and trust use cases. Rupesh holds an MS in Software Engineering Management from Carnegie Mellon University and a Masters in Computer Applications from NIT Calicut. He has expertise in Senior Software Engineering, Machine Learning, testing, and Kubernetes.
