Rushi Gajjar is an accomplished book author, embedded hardware designer, and engineering lead with a strong background in automotive electronics and IoT. He has a proven track record in designing and developing hardware products, from ideation to mass production, with a focus on complete hardware development cycles. Rushi has extensive experience in microcontrollers and microprocessor interfacing, interfaces, connectivity, Altium Designer, Cadence Capture, Allegro, processor power, analysis, RF, and design for reliability. He is also skilled in debugging using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, logic/protocol analyzers, and function generators. Currently, Rushi works as the Lead Design Engineer - Embedded Hardware at Ather Energy, where he leads the R&D efforts of the Electric Vehicle Ather 450 and 450X's Embedded Dashboard-VCU Module. He has taken this product from the design development to the mass production scale. The Ather 450X is a cutting-edge electric scooter with a Qualcomm Snapdragon-based dashboard, a 7-inch weatherproof capacitive touch screen, and cloud-based data integration. Previously, Rushi worked at Leaf Technologies, where he was responsible for the complete electronics hardware design on IoT-based WiFi/BLE single board high-speed embedded computers (SBCs) and sensor nodes for energy-efficient homes. He also worked as the Book Outline author for Raspberry Pi Zero Cookbook at Packt. Rushi completed his Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Embedded Systems from VIT and his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electronics & Communication from GTU. He also holds a B.A. in Music, specializing in Tabla, from Bruhad Gujarat Music Academy, Ahmedabad. Rushi has relevant experience of 9.02 years and is skilled in test, designer, integration, Python, OpenCV, and web technologies.
