Ruthuparan Prasad is a passionate computer science graduate with 2 years of experience as a Software Engineer. He is currently working as a Software Engineer at Bank of America in the Global Banking & Markets Technology team. He is the primary developer for Stock Order Flow Automation in the Fidessa AMRS team, where he automated end-to-end order flows originating from various exchanges routed to multiple venues to ensure consistency of all the components involved in the order flow. He is skilled in Java, TCL, FitNesse, SQL, UNIX, Git and interacts with them on a daily basis. Ruthuparan is passionate about leveraging data to make better business decisions and is keen on working in the intersection of data and business via analytics. He recently completed the Data Analytics Certification offered by Google, which solidified his understanding of the core concepts in the Analysis process. He has also worked as a Data Analyst intern at Swaas, where he had to find the relation between employees in a restaurant completing franchisee training courses and the effect it had on the performance of the various branches of the restaurant. The final result of this Sentiment Analysis project was a graphical representation of the results and trends identified. The entire project was done using Python and MS Excel. Apart from his professional pursuits, Ruthuparan is a flautist, musician/composer, film-buff, and space enthusiast in his free time. He was also a part of the Employee Engagement team at Bank of America, through which he conducted activities, both within his team and for firm-wide events. He was also an active member in the Data Analytics Technology Focus Group. Ruthuparan's education includes a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from SRM University, which he completed in 2020, and a CBSE degree from Bala Vidya Mandir, which he completed in 2016.
