Ryan Day is a highly motivated software engineer with over 16 years of relevant experience. Currently working at Google as a Software Engineer, Ryan is an expert in Node JS, PHP, AJAX, LAMP web applications, Google Android/mobile applications, IVR software for Asterisk PBX, custom Javascript frameworks and jQuery, javascript systems architecture, and database and software architecture. Ryan thrives in the intense world of startups and ever-changing product requirements, and has worked with several companies in the past, including npm, inc. as a Registry Engineer, and pinoccio as an API and Magic developer. At pinoccio, Ryan built the IOT API so physical devices could stream events as they happen to any number of consumers, and so the things could receive commands from clients. He also built and designed the data warehouse, the public web, streaming, and websocket API, the socket API for the "Things" (scouts), and a host of open source tools to work with pinoccio boards on npm and GitHub.
