Tousif S is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft with over 8 years of experience in the field. He is a Computer Science graduate from BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus and has worked in automotive infotainment for the most part of his career. In the last two years, he has worked on a gaming engine (Unity) and is currently working in the Security and Compliance team for Office Engineering Systems at Microsoft. Tousif is an immensely positive person who believes that life is full of possibilities and loves the idea of learning or creating something new. He is passionate about making a difference and adding value to people's lives, and his dream is to create something someday that adds value to the lives of more than a billion people. Tousif is a productivity enthusiast and a nerd at heart who loves standup comedy and superhero movies. He is also an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys playing table tennis and badminton. In his current role at Microsoft, Tousif has been instrumental in building products to ensure credentials are not leaked and perform security reviews to avoid breaches. His efforts have reduced credentials leaked in code and other sources by 90%. He has experience in building products at scale to ensure build pipelines and code bases are compliant. Tousif has also created a webservice for automatic work item creation to track security vulnerabilities and compliance violations to reduce manual effort. Prior to Microsoft, Tousif has worked at Rythmos and Mobis Technical Center of India, where he has gained experience in developing modules of Unity Game Engine, creating regression checklists, and drafting detailed design objectives of Bluetooth applications for Qt based stereo systems. Tousif's technical expertise includes software engineering and testing. He is a mentor to junior developers and engineers and has trained them in Automated Unit Testing to improve overall team performance. Tousif is a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science from BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus and is currently pursuing a course from Scaler Academy.
