Sabari Prabaaker is an entrepreneur, maker, and tech enthusiast with a passion for working on high-impact problems and developing disruptive solutions. With 8.84 years of relevant experience, he is well-versed in trending fields like IoT, mobile app development, and machine learning. His particular interest lies in the healthcare domain, where he has implemented several IoT-based solutions, starting from the design thinking phase for user needs gathering to rapid prototyping of the Minimum Viable Prototypes (MVPs). Sabari is proficient in coding on the Android platform and has hands-on experience with sensor technologies and open-source boards. He has worked with the Intel Edison Board using the Intel XDK and is an active member of the Bangalore Makerspace and open-source community. He has conducted several workshops on robotics and IoT fundamentals and has a good grasp of the technology stack used for developing AR/VR applications. Sabari has completed a course curated by CMU on robotics using the Lego Mindstorm kit and has been actively involved in the development and testing of an integrated connected waste management platform. This platform was born out of the ReImagine waste hackathon at IISc and was a very enriching experience in terms of putting technology in the hands of waste collectors and empowering them to enforce waste segregation at the source. Currently working as a BIRAC SIIP Fellow at the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP), Sabari has previously worked as a Lead Product Engineer and Product Engineer at Nemo. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Information Science and Engineering from Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology and completed his high school education in Science at Bishop Cotton Boys' School. Sabari's tech stack includes software engineering, testing, machine learning, mobile app development, Java, and Android.
