Sachi M. is a seasoned technology professional with over 35 years of experience in the software industry. Currently serving as the Global Director of HCL Software Labs in Bengaluru, Sachi is responsible for enabling innovation and driving growth in the products business. With a strong background in operating systems, networking and security software, and DevOps products, Sachi has a domain experience that spans across mobile, desktop, server, and mainframe platforms. Prior to joining HCL, Sachi was the Program Director at IBM India Software Labs, where she led the development of Rational Functional Tester, Rational Web UI Tester, and RTW Mobile Test Edition. These products are part of the Rational Test Workbench (RTW) family of products and were later transitioned to HCL Technologies, coinciding with the formation of HCL Products and Platforms BU. Before IBM, Sachi led the India Labs of a US-based software company that developed scientific software applications. She also helped grow the India Labs of another US software company, Novell. Sachi started her career as a programmer in Mumbai, with an Indian GSI, and has since worked and lived in the US and Europe for three years. She is an expert in innovation and enjoys helping customers adopt existing and new technologies to solve problems. Sachi is also passionate about growing the products business and developing the people on her team. Sachi holds an M.Tech in Industrial Engineering from NITIE and a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from S V University College of Engineering, Tirupati, AP. She has a strong technical background in Java, Spring Boot, Spring, SQL, Docker, Kafka, Jenkins, and Microservices. Sachi is also experienced in test, mobile, UI, DevOps, web, CI/CD, QA, and research scientist. Sachi is a Senior Director of R&D and a Member of the Board of Directors at Accelrys, where she led the India software development lab of the US company and enhanced products. Sachi's diverse experience and expertise make her a valuable asset to any organization looking to drive innovation and growth in the software industry.
