Sachin Chavan-PgMP® is an experienced Sr. Project Manager at Emerson Automation Solutions with over 20 years of expertise in handling Industrial Process Automation projects for Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power, and Material handling MES Manufacturing Execution System, DeltaV DCS, SCADA, MAC, MIV, IIoT, field Instruments, and Syncade MES Bio-Pharma projects. He has worked on projects ranging from 450 K USD to 14 million USD and has a well-honed expertise in working with global teams while simultaneously executing small/large-scale and turnkey projects. Sachin has a background in ensuring the commercial and technical success of solutions-based automation projects with proactive responsibility in financial management and reporting, project planning, estimating, scheduling, and risk management. Sachin has a speciality in EPC Project Management in the Oil and Gas Industry (Gas Plants Automation, Wellhead, and Pipeline applications), Power plants, and Material Handling plant Project Management of Syncade MES system from design to the start-up, commissioning, and validation of the large-scale manufacturing facility. In the past, Sachin has worked as a Project Manager at Emerson Automation Solutions. He has proactively contributed to managing and delivering projects ranging from 200k USD to 1.2m USD in time and on budget, achieved set gross margin, gained valuable work experience on wellhead, RTU, SCADA, and pipeline projects. He has also floated inquiries and performed techno-commercial evaluation of quotations for major project activities and items and drove initiatives for negotiating with the supplier to deliver products well within the scheduled time on the most competitive rates and payment terms. Sachin has also handled various projects for oil and gas, chemicals and batch projects while leading a team for design and implementation of software, designing complex loops, and conducting FAT and SAT.
