Sachin Gutte is a co-founder and the Chief Belief Officer of GroundUp, a mobile-first teaching and learning platform that aims to democratize access to world-class education tools for schools in Tier 2, 3, and 4 cities. With a goal to reach 100,000 schools and 100 million students in India and overseas by 2027, Sachin is dedicated to solving the unsolved problems of EdTech. Sachin has over 5 years of relevant experience in the field, having previously worked in growth and strategy at Byju's and as a management intern at CK Birla Group. He holds a Master's in Business Administration from IIM Bangalore and a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering from the Institute of Chemical Technology. At GroundUp, Sachin leads a fully remote team of 15 professionals in 8 cities across engineering, design, product, sales, and customer success. The company is backed by Better Capital, Aureolis Ventures, and Prashant Adurty (Stanford Angels and Entrepreneurs India) across the maiden round of private financing. Sachin is passionate about using technology to solve societal problems at scale in a sustainable way. He believes in thinking deeply about the impact of his work and executing decisions based on data. When he is not working or traveling, Sachin enjoys cooking for his loved ones.
