Sachin Jopat is a highly seasoned and technically savvy senior IT professional with over 21 years of experience in the power and energy industry. He is currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at GE Digital, where he leads multiple cross-functional agile teams to develop high-quality SAAS applications and processes for the manufacturing industry. Sachin is a customer-focused and strategy-conscious leader with a demonstrated history of working in requirements analysis, enterprise architecture, software product design, development/implementation, agile methodologies, and cloud services. He worked on moving the large-scale industrial IoT remote monitoring and diagnostics system to a cloud-native, highly secure, scalable big data platform. Sachin was also responsible for working with customers in the region along with sales/commercial teams to drive the solution architecture, pre-sales technical discussions, customer value, and ROI discussions. Sachin's past experience also includes serving as a Tech Lead at Project Leadership Associates, where he led the team in the design, development, coding, and testing of a customer relationship management (CRM) application for Hutchinson Shockey Erley (www.hsemuni.com) built on the Java Struts framework. Sachin holds a degree from Shadan College of Engineering and Technology and is skilled in AWS, infra, senior software engineering, product management, product design, test, web, and more.
