Sachin Kalsi is a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with over 7 years of experience in NLP, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and full-stack software development. Currently working as a Data Scientist IV at Draup, Sachin is a leading member of the machine learning team, responsible for building and implementing complex algorithms and models to solve real-world business problems. Sachin's expertise lies in NLP tasks such as Text Clustering, Named Entity Recognition (NER), Text classification, Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Information Retrieval (IR) from unstructured data, text generation, and more. He has worked on various technologies including Python, PySpark, Node JS, Java, Javascript, and a little bit on the DevOps side, etc. Sachin has used Mongo DB and Postgres Database extensively and is proficient in backend development. Before joining Draup, Sachin worked as a Software Engineer at Calient Technologies, where he designed and developed the "Auto-Discovery & Verification Automation" system, which helped in verification and auto-discovery of the ports connected to Optical Circuit Switches (OCS devices). This automation system significantly reduced human efforts. Sachin also worked as a Software Developer at Techniche E-Commerce Solutions, where he designed a few small-scale e-commerce websites and took end-to-end responsibility for projects starting from gathering requirements to delivery. Sachin holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from JNNCE and completed his PUC/12 in Science from Govt. Pre University College, Sagar.
