Sachin Nandwana is the Co-Founder and Director of BigHaat Agro Pvt Ltd, a leading supply chain technology platform in the agriculture domain in India. With a vision to empower farmers using science, data, and technology, Sachin has built a unique customer-focused strategy that leverages the current technology ecosystem, differentiating BigHaat from its competitors and providing efficient agri services to growers and suppliers. As the driving force behind BigHaat, Sachin has brought together several leading seed suppliers across India to provide transparent, competitive, and quality services directly to farmers through the platform. This not only ensures the listing of products but also connects buyers with suppliers for post-sale support, providing a seamless end-to-end user experience. The platform reduces the widening gap between sellers and buyers in the agriculture domain and benefits suppliers/sellers to improve their operational efficiency and productivity. Sachin continues to bring a wide range of agro products, services, and solutions to serve end-to-end agro community needs. Prior to founding BigHaat, Sachin worked at Honeywell as a Tech Lead and Senior Engineer, where he was the focal point for application lifecycle management. He was responsible for capturing requirements, developing configuration, testing, and deploying on production. Sachin has also developed ALM solutions that support project management, requirement management, test management, defect management, configuration management, agile project management, and integration with different other ALM/PLM tools. He has automated processes to improve productivity and written triggers and reports using Java Script, XML, HTML, and shell scripting. Sachin holds a DESD degree in Embedded System Design from C-DAC and a BE degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from MIT Mandsaur and RGPV. He has over 19 years of relevant experience in the tech stack, including testing, senior software engineering, Java, and integration. Sachin is a visionary leader who is passionate about using technology to empower farmers and bring efficiency to the agriculture domain in India.
