Sagar Jain is an Assistant Manager at Larsen & Toubro with over 6 years of experience in the construction industry. During his tenure at IIT Bombay, Sagar worked on designing a building, material estimation, and material selection to improve the energy efficiency of the house. He also raised funds through sponsors and built the house on the campus, deconstructed it, and shipped it to China. Sagar also participated in the Solar Decathalon China 2018 as part of Team Shunya, where he designed and executed a G+1 modular house with solar power net positive energy connected to the grid. Sagar has also worked as a Summer Intern at Alitus Technologies, where he assisted in the development of the "Sighte" mobile application interface. "Sighte" is a mobile-based solution for site engineers/managers in construction projects for planning, scheduling, resource allocation, monitoring, and controlling the project. Sagar prepared the interface for road projects, solar projects, and pipeline linear projects, along with updating the concrete and earthwork jobs. Sagar holds a Master of Technology degree in Construction Technology & Management from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
