Sagar Patel is an experienced IT professional with expertise in product designing, planning, implementation, and release process. He has worked on product development for data analytics, telecom, and security solutions. Sagar is responsible for designing and developing a base framework for the distributed and multithreaded product development. He has developed telecom products such as Mediation, NatLog Processor Engine, Traffic Flow Analyser for the network topology (Telecom networks), System Monitoring Microservices, Splunk Integration Solutions, Data Capturing Product, and Splunk App Development. Sagar has exposure to telecommunication functional concepts and protocol used to provide the Call and Data Services such as NETFLOW, SFLOW, IPFIX, RADIUS, SYSLOG, GTP, and Hardware specific protocols. He has throughout experience in the development of data-driven or data processing solutions. Sagar has proven abilities to work onsite and offshore with clients in different time zones. His skills include Java, Hibernate, Spring, Linux, Node.js, Python, Apache Kafka, Elastic Search, RabbitMQ, Rest Framework, and Bash scripting. Currently, Sagar is working as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware. Sagar has previously worked at Crest Data Systems as a Technical Lead and Senior Software Engineer. At Crest Data Systems, he has worked on the Splunk Platform for the data availability team to make data available in Splunk from different applications, platforms, databases, and many other systems. He has developed, maintained, and enhanced Splunk Addons that communicate with different third-party systems and push data to Splunk. Sagar has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from LDRP Institute of Technology & Research, Gujarat Technological University. He has relevant experience of 10.70 years as a Software Engineer, Data Engineering, Microservices, Docker, Elastic Search, Kafka, Spring, Search, NodeJS, UI, Infra, RabbitMQ, Python, Java, Javascript, Integration, Senior Software Engineer, Jenkins, and Salesforce.
