Sagar is an occasional bug hunter and has authored Astra: Automated Security Testing For REST API's, a tool that automates security testing for REST APIs. He is also an expert in shift left security and has taken the lead on security reviews of Flipkart Payment gateway and Fintech BU while working as a Security Engineer at Flipkart. Sagar holds a Master of Science in Computer Application (MSC-CA) with a specialization in Network and System Administration/Administrator from Symbiosis International University and a Bachelor of Computer Application from Atmiya Institute of Technology & Science. His technical skills include expertise in application security testing, penetration testing, cryptography, and network security. Sagar has a strong understanding of various programming languages and tools such as Python, Burp Suite, and Wireshark. Currently, at Navi, Sagar is building and scaling appsec, ensuring that the organization's applications are secure and safe from cyber threats.
