He is currently working with the HealthcareGraph team in Optum, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group, as a Big Data engineer and Backend developer. With over 2.86 years of relevant experience, Sagar has worked on a variety of projects ranging from building and deploying spark-scala and containerized kafka based near real time data processing and ingestion pipelines on kuberntes to analyzing graph databases on various cloud platforms. Sagar's expertise lies in creating graph models for new data sources, writing gsqls, and creating spring-boot apis for analyzing the data stored in the graph database. He has also worked on creating a framework for analyzing the data growth pattern within the database and doing analysis of various data sources to improve the connectivity and quality of the data stored within the Healthcare Graph. Prior to his current role, Sagar worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Optum Global Solutions private ltd, where he worked on apache Kafka and apache Spark. He also served as the Innovation Head at Team Revanta, the Solar Electric Vehicle Team of NIT, Jamshedpur. Sagar holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur.
