Sagar Raikar is a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer with over 3 years of experience in Conversational AI space dealing with Speech technologies, NLP/NLU. He has a strong background in AI, NLP, and Research Science, and has built an MVP Emotion AI based Speech coach Platform. Sagar is currently working as a Speech Scientist at Uniphore, where he is responsible for developing and deploying Speech and NLP models. Prior to joining Uniphore, Sagar worked as a Speech & ML Engineer at Sayint.ai, where he was part of the core speech team working on Speech processing, Automatic Speech recognition, and NLP. He has worked on end-to-end Speech Recognition systems for Multilingual scenarios, Speech enhancement, and Speech synthesis systems for multilingual and real-time scenarios. Sagar has also worked as a Student Trainee at Mercedes Benz, where he worked on the development of POC for the idea of Wireless cameras for future cars and trucks. Sagar has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in AI, NLP, Backend, Computer Vision, Python, AWS, Deep Learning, Azure, BERT, Object detection, RNN, Image Processing, Apache Airflow, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Tensorflow, Kafka, Flask, Pytorch, Integration, Web, and Software Engineering. Sagar is a highly motivated individual who aspires to build products from scratch and is open to opportunities, especially the 0->1 journey in building a product.
