Sagar Vare is a highly accomplished Machine Learning Engineer with over 5 years of relevant experience. He holds a double Masters degree from Stanford University and IIT Madras, and completed his undergraduate studies from IIT M as well. Sagar's research at Stanford, focused on IoT, won the best paper award runner-up and best Student Paper award at KDD '17, which is among the top 3 AI conferences. Sagar's expertise lies in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, and Data Science. He has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Google and Matroid. At Google, Sagar worked on the Google Suggest - Machine Learning project, where he used Machine Learning, Statistics, and AI to help scale and improve the quality of Google Suggest. At Matroid, he worked as a Deep Learning Intern, gaining first-hand experience in the application of deep learning. He was responsible for improving the quality of the deep learning product and enhancing the training speed and quality. Sagar is currently working as a Software Engineer at Glean, where he continues to apply his expertise in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence to solve complex problems. He is broadly interested in problems related to Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and the application of statistical tools to real-life settings. Sagar is passionate about working on fast-paced projects that have tangible output and large-scale impact. Sagar's tech stack includes ML, Software Engineering, Research Science, AI, Deep Learning, Data Science, and Computer Vision. He is a highly motivated individual who is always on the lookout for challenging projects that can help him grow as a professional.
