Sahaj Ramachandran is a front-end focused full-stack engineer with a passion for all things tech. He is currently a Product Manager at zywa, a YC W22 company, where he is responsible for improving the deployment pipelines of apps. Sahaj is particularly interested in the current state of the DevOps ecosystem and is skilled in creating performant web applications using React.js and related frameworks, declarative CI/CD pipelines using JenkinsX/Tekton pipelines/Github workflows/ArgoCD, and native Android development using #MADSkills. In addition to his technical expertise, Sahaj is also passionate about 3D illustration and generative art. He hopes to become an Engineering Manager/Principal Architect through mentorship and mutual learning with like-minded developers. Sahaj has a wealth of experience in the tech industry, having previously worked as a Lead Architect & Co-founder at Quoti, a chat-based SaaS platform powered by AI, and a Lead Developer at TripShire, an online B2B platform for travel agents to customize and book holiday packages instantly. At Quoti, Sahaj oversaw architecture decisions and related service implementations, set up immutable infrastructure through Terraform, and implemented a robust and resilient CI/CD pipeline using Tekton pipelines and ArgoCD. At TripShire, Sahaj created a scalable component-based frontend system, improved the SEO of the main booking website by migrating the React codebase to Next.js, and mentored the backend team in implementing an invite-based onboarding flow. Sahaj holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from Amrita School of Engineering. He is always looking to expand his knowledge and is interested in learning WASM development using Rust, augmenting Kubernetes core APIs with Golang, and exploring the beautiful marriage between web2 and web3.
