Sahil Bansal is an experienced Software Engineer with a demonstrated history of working in the e-learning industry. With a Bachelor's degree focused in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu, Sahil is skilled in programming and has a relevant experience of 2.77 years. Currently working at Scaler Academy as a Software Engineer and Instructor, Sahil is actively teaching beginner and intermediate Python programming and DSA. He is also working on Placement Tech, Hire From Scaler, where they build tools for internal recruiters to filter candidates and refer them to companies. Sahil has taught OOP, DBMS, and Django development classes and is a core member of the Website Growth team. He has led some of the efforts in Free Academy Experience development, including the onboarding flow, problems categorization, mentor tagging and booking before enrollment, free class booking, and automated reminders. Previously, Sahil has worked as a Teaching Assistant at InterviewBit, where he assisted a batch of 20+ students out of around 100 selected students in the InterviewBit Academy (now Scaler Academy) with their assignment and homework coding problems. He has also worked as a Student Developer at Crio.do's Crio Summer of Doing 2019, where he built a distributed system backend for the food order platform, QEats, with Java Spring Boot and MongoDB.
