Sahil Lamba is a Lead Software Engineer at Engati with over 9 years of relevant experience in web and mobile development. He is based in Bangalore and has a keen interest in design. His objective is to create products and services that impact people's lives for the better. Sahil's current role at Engati involves leading software development projects. Prior to this, he worked at Coviam as a Lead Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer. At Coviam, Sahil was responsible for creating a Beta consumer CRM platform for the US market that worked with Chrome Extension and Android App. He also led the creation and revamp of the 2nd biggest OTA platform of Indonesia, www.tiket.com/event, owned by Djarum group. Sahil designed and implemented a seller platform to sell tickets directly to customers and created a PHP gateway for REST APIs to connect the monolith and microservices architecture. He also worked extensively with the 2nd biggest home services marketplace, creating efficient admin and consumer-facing features utilizing JQuery and PHP. Sahil introduced Vue JS into the codebase, reducing the need for an additional gateway utilized to retrieve data from the Java backend. He trained fellow and senior developers on Vue JS, helping them write better component-based solutions while maintaining perfect compatibility with JQuery due to Vue JS's ability to work with minimum changes needed to stack. Sahil explored and worked on Java backend services including Spring Boot and Microservices. Sahil completed his Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Jaypee University of Engineering and Technology in 2014. He also completed his high school education from Central Academy and Little Angels High School.
