Sahil Mishra is a highly motivated and determined PhD scholar at IITD with a strong background in NLP, RecSys, ML&Ops. He is passionate about building innovative products that can make a positive impact on society. Sahil is currently working as a Software Engineer at India Urban Data Exchange, where he is contributing to a research project initiated by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) with the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. Sahil's main contributions at India Urban Data Exchange include writing back-end code for the server, developing statistical and predictive Big Data Analytics pipeline using open-source source tools such as Apache Flink, Kudu, Superset, Minio, Airflow, Spark, etc. He is responsible for developing optimized, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems. Before joining India Urban Data Exchange, Sahil has also worked as a Deep Learning Developer Intern at Tensormatics, where he integrated AutoLabel functionality in the Labellerr website, developed and deployed Tensorflow deep learning models on GCP, and secured API endpoints by integrating an API gateway with the backend to route requests to the endpoints. He has also worked as an AI/ML Intern at OurSelfStudy, where he worked with the Product Team to develop a chatbot system, developed PHP RESTful API to fetch entities from Dialogflow, which in return would be used to fetch answers from MySQL database, and performed competitor analysis and research on their products to compare performances. Sahil has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Engineering from the Indian Institute of Information Technology Design & Manufacturing, Kurnool. He has also completed his Higher Secondary Education from Lucknow Public College, Sahara States, Jankipuram, Lucknow, and Secondary Education from Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School and Chapslee School - India. Sahil's technical skills include Software Engineering, NLP, ML, Deep Learning, Backend, Spark, Apache Airflow, Research Scientist, Computer Vision, Big Data, product manager, Tensorflow, GCP, AI, PHP, and MySQL. With 1.76 years of relevant experience, Sahil is seeking challenging opportunities in the product domain to enhance his technical, statistical, and product management skills for the organization.
