Sahil Rohilla is an experienced Software Engineer with a strong background in internet industry. He is skilled in Node.js, C (Programming Language), MySQL, and Linux. He is a graduate of KUK and has a demonstrated history of working in the industry. Currently, Sahil is working as an SDE-2 at Expedia and has previously worked at Paytm as a Software Developer. He has worked in the core back-end Recharges Team of Paytm, handling products including mobile recharges, electricity bill payment, and more. He has also worked in the Backend Insurance team of Paytm for more than a year and has been responsible for developing many products like Life, Mobile, and Shop Insurance. Sahil has also developed a Generic Config platform that reduces the development efforts of products from 1-2 days to 20 minutes. This platform allows different product configurations like addition, disabling, and enabling to be done directly from the platform without any development effort. He has also implemented Kafka consumer messaging system for processing of real-time data. Sahil has previously worked as a Software Engineering Intern at BHEL, where he worked as a software testing engineer. He was responsible for reading the requirements of the client and testing the software in different environments and with different testing techniques to find out the functional issues in the application. He has used JAVA and MySQL for this project. Sahil has a degree in BTech - Bachelor of Technology from KUK, where he studied Computer Science. He has relevant experience of 4.79 years and is proficient in Software Engineering, MySQL, test, Javascript, Kafka, Mobile, Backend, NodeJS, Redis, and Java.
