Sai Vivek Peddi is a highly skilled computer scientist with a passion for building sustainable, eco-friendly products that make a difference. With over three years of experience in the fintech industry, Sai has proven expertise in applied machine learning, data engineering, and software development. As a solutions architect, Sai has designed API services for data-intensive analytics and BI use cases, including products such as Digix, InPro, and IDM. He has also led a team of five to write large-scale data transformation jobs in Spark, reducing query times by 40-fold with new pipelines. Sai has implemented a YOLOv3 model for cropping One Time Mandates (OTMs) and extracting text info from investor forms, achieving 98% accuracy for OTM detection and 97% for text extraction, saving 160 man-hours a week. Currently pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of California, Davis, Sai is also a graduate teaching assistant for machine learning and programming languages. He is actively seeking summer internships in 2022 as a data scientist, AI researcher, or SDE. In addition to his professional pursuits, Sai enjoys cooking, movies and music, photography, and cricket.
