Saikat Chakraborty is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for developing innovative solutions. Currently working as an SDE Intern at Amazon, he has been a part of the team that deprecated PayStellar Service, a legacy tier-1 wrapper spring service, by migrating its relevant features. He has also reduced latency for Validate and Update Payment Contract workflows for customers using Amazon Pay at external merchant websites. Saikat's expertise lies in Core Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Dependency injection, and Java Generics. He has deployed proper production-grade unit-testable code after successfully running all integration tests and proper peer review. Saikat's previous experience includes a research internship at ISRO-funded research project, where he developed an algorithm to generate an image database from a single satellite image of the moon that the lander camera would capture while following a specified trajectory. He also generated all possible images that the lander may see if it gets deflected from the specified trajectory, used later for simulation of the control system for the lander. Saikat has also worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at CMATER Labs, Deptt of CSE, JU. Saikat is a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Jadavpur University, with a relevant experience of 1.77 years. He also holds a Senior Secondary Education degree from D.A.V School, Siliguri, and a Secondary Education degree from Don Bosco School, Siliguri. Saikat's tech stack includes Software Engineering, Spring, Java, Research Science, Spring Boot, Integration, and Image Processing. He is a highly motivated individual with a keen interest in learning and developing new skills.
