Saikat Das is an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in ETL development and data integration on Azure, Synapse, and Power BI. He possesses in-depth knowledge of Informatica ETL analysis and designing, including mapping and transformations. Additionally, he is proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, and Bootstrap. Currently, Saikat is working as a Senior System Engineer at Infosys, where he is responsible for carrying out ETL analysis and designing data quality transformations to meet clients' demands and needs using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Data Quality application models. He is also involved in implementing design, development, and validation in line with architecture requirements and participating in knowledge management activities to ensure the highest quality of service offerings to clients in his tech domain within the guidelines and business policies. Prior to his current role, Saikat worked as a trainee at NTPC and an internship trainee at Bhilai Heavy Steel Trading Private Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation from the Heritage Institute of Technology, which he completed in 2018. Saikat's technical expertise includes SQL, ETL, Data Engineering, Azure, Integration, Python, Snowflake, and Java.
