As an Engineer III, Saikat is responsible for leading the development of a global eCommerce platform using Java, Microservices, AWS, RDBMS, NoSQL, and CI-CD. Prior to joining Thermo Fisher, Saikat worked at Oracle as a Principal and Senior Software Engineer, where he gained extensive experience in PLSQL, SQL, and Oracle ERP. He has also worked on several projects involving Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, and Fleet Management. Saikat is a highly skilled technologist with expertise in a wide range of technologies, including Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Cassandra, Postgres, Redis, Jenkins, and Docker. He is also a certified expert in several areas, including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Datastax Apache Cassandra, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, and ITIL Foundation. Saikat is a graduate of Asansol Engineering College, where he earned a Bachelor of Technology degree in 2009.
