Saikumar P is an experienced and Microsoft certified Data Engineer Associate with a history of creating end-to-end data analytic systems. He has hands-on experience in data ingestion, creating pipelines, and processing data using various Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Pig, Map reduce, and Sqoop. He is proficient in Spark API's like PySpark and Spark SQL, and programming languages such as C++, Python, and Java. He also has expertise in data manipulation using SQL and MongoDB, and cloud services such as Azure Datafactory, ADLS, Azure Databricks, and SQL Database. Saikumar has worked on projects where he has created ETL pipelines using Azure Datafactory, ingested data from various sources to the staging layer, processed data using PySpark and Spark SQL, developed facts and dimensions, and pushed data to the warehouse for end-users. He has even created an email alert system to notify when the pipeline is in an idle state. Currently, Saikumar is working as a Data Engineer II at Uber. Previously, he has worked at Flipkart as a Data Engineer and at Infosys as a Specialist Programmer. He has a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Warangal, where he graduated in 2019.
