Sailesh Aggarwal is an Automation Test Specialist at IBM India Pvt. Ltd. with over 1.5 years of experience in manual and automation software testing and implementation on the telecommunication domain. He has a complete understanding of various phases of SDLC and STLC, and complete knowledge of bug tracking tools like ALM and ClearQuest. Sailesh is experienced in interacting with system engineers, developers, and technical support and helping them baseline the requirement specifications. Sailesh has extensive experience in performing functional and non-functional testing, manual testing, database testing, GUI testing, usability testing, integration testing, cross-browser testing, compatibility testing, system testing, regression testing, smoke testing, and user acceptance testing. He has worked with different models such as Waterfall, V-Model, Scrum, and Agile Model. Additionally, he has experience in analyzing changes and identifying risk areas of the application to be covered in regression tests. Sailesh has excellent working knowledge of SQL queries and Unix environment. He has experience in preparing project artifacts and automation tools like CTD, Greenhat, SOAP UI, and Selenium. Currently, Sailesh is working with IBM and is involved in the ordering application like CPLUS, PCMT, EOS, and CMT. He has contributed to reviewing high-level design documents, preparing test scenarios, scripting test cases for the HLD requirements, executing the test cases, and doing regression testing. He has also detected and logged the defects, after classifying them based on priority and severity using the ALM tool. Prior to IBM, Sailesh worked with Adeptia and Reliance as a Software Engineer Trainee and Engineering Trainee, respectively. He has a Bachelor of Technology (BTech.) degree in Information Technology from GGSIP University (HMR Institute of Technology and Management). Additionally, he has completed AISSCE from DL D.A.V Public Model School, Pitampura, Delhi, and AISSE from D.A.V Public School, Ashok Vihar. Overall, Sailesh has 9.27 years of relevant experience in the tech stack of test, SDET, SQL, UI, Selenium, integration, designer, product manager, backend, web, and software engineer.
