Sajal Garg is a highly accomplished professional with over 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. He is currently the Director of Products at Colexion, where he is responsible for managing the entire product development lifecycle. Sajal is also pursuing his MBA from the Indian School of Business, which he is expected to complete in 2022. Prior to joining Colexion, Sajal worked as an Assistant Manager at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) and as an Engineer at National Fertilizers Limited (NFL). At IOCL, he was responsible for monitoring key performance indicators and identifying improvement opportunities. He also prepared and compiled cost control, OISD, stock reconciliation, and other MIS reports for the executive management. Sajal carried out safety and stock loss audits of the supply locations as per industry guidelines and planned and adhered to the preventive schedules for safety, equipment, and infrastructure facilities as per industry standards. He monitored GPS-based line patrolling for the safety of crude and product pipelines of total length over 500 km. Sajal identified and caught oil pilferage in a product pipeline by carefully studying pressure trends data, saving more than 18 million INR in potential losses. He also led the construction of a crude pipeline of national importance generating value of INR 500 million+ and chartered an integrity testing framework for the company township, ensuring the safety of 150+ residents. Sajal successfully solved an RTI case within 2 days for a project completed under him and identified the solution for a failed oil product tank by studying research papers on the subject, saving more than 20 million INR in potential re-refining losses. He revamped the reporting system for maintenance requests, increasing the completion rate by 80%. Sajal is a highly skilled professional with expertise in product management, testing, research, and infrastructure. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from IIT (BHU), Varanasi. He also attended Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kamla Nehru Nagar, Ghaziabad, for his schooling.
