Sajal Saxena is a Senior Data Scientist at Coforge with over 7 years of experience in developing Python/ETL and Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence solutions. He has worked in Agile fashion, leading teams in sprints using the best software practices. Currently, Sajal is working at Coforge as a Senior Software Engineer, where he is developing automation and analytical solution models for clients using AI/ML/ETL techniques to help them understand and accelerate their businesses. He is also part of the research team of AI and Automation, exploring new tools and techniques in the fields and guiding them to be implemented in existing projects. With constant client interaction, he understands and identifies business problems and maps them into key business variables using feature engineering. In the past, Sajal has worked at DXC Technology as a Professional 1 Product Developer and Associate Programmer. At DXC Technology, he built Python-based solutions to hook into the Business service layer of Vantage using existing APIs, flatten the normalized data that exists across tables, and present it in a form that can be easily consumed on Hive for any Business use case (ETL, analytics, or dashboard reporting, etc.). He also converted raw compressed data from multiple Cobol-produced files, VSAM files, and databases to formatted CSV files for Hive Databases ingestion by developing Python-based conversion interfaces. Sajal has a Post Graduate degree in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from Great Lakes and the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business. He also has a Natural Language Processing Nanodegree from Udacity and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from Amity University, Gautam Budh Nagar.
