Saksham Garg is a final year undergraduate student at IIT Roorkee with a passion for competitive programming and problem-solving. He is a Candidate Master at CodeForces and a 6-star coder at CodeChef. He is also the Placement Manager at IIT Roorkee's Placement and Internship Cell, where he co-manages a team of 100+ students for campus relations with 600+ firms for more than 1500 students. Saksham has experience working as an Application Engineer at Oracle, where he created a Flask web template that bootstraps a hello-world boilerplate for developers to kickstart their projects. He also automated the process of virtual environment creation and dependency installation using Python subsystem module and provided PostgresSQL database support that the user/developer can access using their database credentials. His tech stack includes Python, CookieCutter (a command-line tool for templatization), and Flask. Currently, Saksham is working as a Mentor at a student mentorship program. He is actively seeking internship/full-time opportunities in the software/fintech domain. His education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications Engineering from IIT Roorkee, expected to be completed in December 2023.
