In his tenure as owner of Bing Recipes, he achieved several remarkable milestones for Bing search. He doubled their daily Bing Recipes query volume and increased their DAU by 66%. Salman drove the re-architecture of the entire data pipeline and index design to support becoming a fully universal answer, ready to launch in 100 languages and 236 regions worldwide. In addition, they also had several new milestones for Bing answers - they were the first team to introduce videos on the experience and the first team to add filters personalized with user and query signals. Salman holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore and has also attended Lyceum International School.
