Saloni Chauhan is a driven and accomplished professional currently pursuing the flagship PGDM program at MDI Gurgaon. With over 2 years of experience in software development engineering, Saloni has honed her skills in full-stack development and data science. Prior to joining MDI, she worked as a Software Developer at Provakil where she implemented universal and document search for the company's website using Elastic Search. She also designed and implemented the invoices and expenses pages for the website along with the required APIs and integrated third-party login and signature apps with Provakil. As a data science intern at Alethe Consulting, Saloni analyzed magnetic flux leakage data used in inline inspection of pipelines for a major oil and gas company. She visualized and pre-processed the data using Sobel filters, Gaussian smoothing, and histogram equalization. Saloni built and trained models like CNNs, feed-forward neural network, and decision trees for binary and multi-class classification of anomalies in the data. She also used techniques like inception module, transfer learning, adaptive boosting, ensembling, and feature engineering to boost the performance of the models. The best performing model was able to detect and classify 97% of the anomalies within the acceptable error range. Saloni holds a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science Engineering from LNM Institute of Information Technology, where she was a part of the organizing committee for the second largest annual sports fest in Rajasthan, Desportivos, and was the captain of the Girls' badminton team from her college. She believes in working in teams with a straightforward approach and loves music and is an avid reader. Saloni is proficient in software engineering, search, research scientist, elastic search, data scientist, and neural networks. She is currently seeking opportunities to leverage her skills and experience to make a meaningful contribution to an organization.
