Saloni Kanoongo is a Senior Product Manager with over 7 years of experience in the SaaS and PropTech industries. Currently, she is working with SmartClean Technologies, a Singapore-based global B2B PropTech company, where she is responsible for building IoT and AI-powered Intelligent Cleaning Management systems to change how Property and Facility Management teams process, manage, and monitor cleaning operations. Saloni's capabilities lie in designing prototypes, launching products ground-up, developing web/mobile applications, and leading agile processes. Saloni is most excited about sectors like E-commerce, SAAS, IOT, Women Health & Safety, and Social welfare. She did her Bachelors in Electrical and Communication Engineering with a Minor in Computer Science from LMN Institute of Technology in 2014. After college, she started her career as an Interactive Developer with Publicis Sapient, connecting brands to their customers through innovative digital solutions. Taking a gap from her regular job, Saloni followed her interest to work in the social sector. During this period, she worked with various NGOs empowering domestic workers and addressing their concerns, such as ensuring decent wages, safe work conditions, and paid leaves. Taking the learnings from her social sector experience, she started her own company, The Househelp, with a vision of promoting inclusive growth for the unorganized section in the domestic help sector. With a team of 20, they designed, built and launched an end-to-end helper hiring solution for the domestic and hospitality industry. After closing her own company, Saloni joined SmartClean, where she is working currently. Apart from her regular job, she is an active contributor within the TiE Women community, focusing on women entrepreneurship. And, an active volunteer at Robin Hood army, getting surplus food from restaurants & communities to serve the less fortunate. Saloni has a diverse skill set and has experience in product management, AI, research, web, and mobile development. She has worked with various companies in the past and has led cross-functional teams to design, build, and launch fully-functional products. Saloni has secured initial funding and incubation support from the Government of Rajasthan and was admitted to the accelerator program - Startup Oasis (Joint initiative of RIICO & the CIIE at IIM Ahmedabad).
