With his strong background in computer architecture and electrical & computer engineering, Sam has a deep understanding of the underlying hardware and software that powers modern technology. Prior to joining Apple, Sam worked as the Chief Engineer at Paystack, where he architected a payment processing infrastructure that enabled one-tap checkouts for any app or website. He also worked at IBM as an Extreme Blue Engineer, where he led a team of engineers to develop an energy management solution that leveraged software insights to optimize the underlying hardware. Sam's educational background includes a Master of Applied Science in Computer Architecture and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical & Computer Engineering, both from the University of Toronto. He has a strong technical skill set that includes iOS development, design, and infrastructure.
