Samantak Bhadra is a multi-faceted professional with over a decade of experience in marketing, writing, social sector work, entrepreneurship, public speaking, journalism, soft skills training, and technology. He is the Founder of theSound, a branding, marketing, and art consulting firm that specializes in creating fresh and meaningful strategies for brands across various sectors like environment, social sector, visual art, mobile tech, sports, beverages, fashion, publishing, and entertainment. Samantak has a strict policy of working only with brands that he falls hopelessly in love with. Prior to founding theSound, Samantak worked as the Head of Marketing, Sales, and Promotions at Manjul Publishing House Pvt. Ltd, where he handled the marketing and promotions for Amaryllis, the company's English-only imprint. He also worked as a Marketing Strategy Consultant at Repurpose Global, where he crafted end-to-end B2B and B2C holiday season marketing strategies for the US market. Samantak is a TEDx speaker and a published writer who believes that autocorrect is conformity. He holds an MBA in Marketing/Marketing Management from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management and a Bachelor of Technology in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology. He completed his schooling from Don Bosco School, Park Circus. Samantak's tech stack includes mobile technology, and he has relevant experience of 9.94 years.
