Samar Kamal is a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with a passion for Backend Engineering. He completed his Bachelor of Technology in Engineering Physics from IIT Roorkee in 2020 and has since been exploring the world of software development. Currently, he works as an SDE-1 at ZestMoney, where he is responsible for designing RESTful APIs using frameworks like SpringBoot. Samar is a versatile software engineer with knowledge and experience in various programming languages and frameworks. He has explored HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap and is well-versed in Java, SQL, Spring, Golang, Typescript, and more. He is also experienced in CI/CD, Docker, Jenkins, and Microservices. Before joining ZestMoney, Samar worked as the Head of Campus Activities at Corporate Interaction Group (CIG), IIT Roorkee, where he collaborated with industries to connect them with professors, researchers, and students to take research and consultancy work to the next level. He spearheaded various events, including the Corporate Lecture Series, where prominent corporate leaders were invited as guests. Samar also conducted workshops on research fundamentals, ISRO, and Samsung. Samar's education history includes a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering Physics from IIT Roorkee and a 10th-grade degree from Loyola High School, Patna. He has 2.86 years of relevant experience working as a Software Engineer and Research Scientist. His technical skills and experience make him an asset to any team he works with.
