Samarjit Karmakar is a highly skilled Software Engineer with a passion for solving complex problems. He is currently working at Rubrik, Inc. as a Software Engineer, where he is part of the team handling on-prem cluster to cluster replication of snapshots and SaaS control plane for the same. Prior to this, he worked at Microsoft as a Software Engineer, where he was responsible for handling Conflation, Ingestion, and Enrichment of Product Ads for the Shopping Data Team. He also migrated a few data pipelines written in proprietary tech to Azure ADLS/ADLA and tried out Machine Learning based approaches for Conflation Pipelines. He built Data Ingestion Pipelines for Product Specifications as well. Samarjit has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Computer Science from the National Institute of Technology Warangal. He also completed his High School education from Birla High School, Kolkata, where he studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Computer Science. Samarjit has a diverse range of technical skills, including C, C++, Python, Java, C#, GoLang, Scala, gRPC, Protobuf, GraphQL, Kubernetes, Service Fabric, and more. He is a skilled Software Engineer with experience in Kubernetes, ML, Azure, Python, Golang, Scala, and Java.
