Samarth Bansal is a highly skilled professional with a diverse background in finance, risk analysis, and operations strategy. He is currently working as a Summer Intern at Edelweiss, where he is responsible for examining investment strategies and various deals of PE funds for the $230Mn fund deployment. He has also formed quantitative and qualitative analysis of mezzanine strategies adopted in the Indian market. Before joining Edelweiss, Samarth worked as a Risk Analyst at Gravitas, where he worked with the portfolio and risk analytics team for $XXBn hedge fund portfolios comprising of multiple assets, including complex instruments like IRS, swaptions, and CDS. He also has experience in stress and sensitivity analysis for fixed income and equity derivatives instruments. Samarth also worked as an Operations Strategy Summer Intern at Anheuser-Busch InBev, where he conceptualized control frameworks for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to monitor project efficiency, minimize operational risk, identify gaps in the current process, and improve them. He also developed productivity metrics to spot opportunities for improvement, identified key industry benchmarks, and designed an internal benchmark mechanism. Samarth has a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, which he completed in 2018. He also completed an exchange program in Business Administration and Management, General, at the Stockholm School of Economics in 2017. Samarth has a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, which he completed in 2014.
