Samarth Deo is a seasoned technology professional with over 13 years of experience in building apps, developing software, and managing products. He has worked on a wide range of technologies, including mobile handset-based software, embedded systems, language engines, text data compression, browsers, wireless gateways, full-stack web development, and front-end frameworks. Currently, he is consulting as Lead (Engineering) for Beekin, a real estate marketing analytics company, where he is responsible for managing full-stack development activities using React, NodeJS, and Serverless stack. Samarth has successfully built several products from scratch and has done 1.0 releases of several products. He has been associated with various companies, including Kitpay India, where he worked as a Principal Associate - Software, focused on Collection Management System. He is currently working as Director of Engineering at globalbees, where he is building tech to scale up D2C businesses. Samarth's past experience includes working as Engineering @ The Better India, India's largest impact-based media platform, using the power of media and technology to drive large-scale social impact. He was also associated with eCommerce marketplace for sustainable products (Karnival) and D2C brand The Better Home apart from social media/community platform. At Beekin, he spearheaded the efforts to build a data engineering group to develop data stores, crawlers, ETL data pipelines, setting up data lakes, analytics using Redshift, Elastic search using AWS services. Samarth completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2005 and ISC from Christ Church Boy's Sr Sec School in 2001. He has expertise in AWS, Web, NodeJS, Mobile, Frontend, Android, Data Engineering, Elastic Search, Search, and ETL.
