Samarth Gupta is a highly skilled Software Engineer with over 2 years of relevant experience. He is currently working as a Graduate Research Assistant at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications, where he is involved in cutting-edge research projects. He is also an incoming SDE Intern at Microsoft, where he will be working on exciting new projects. Samarth has previously worked as a Software Engineer at Microsoft, where he was a part of the Special Clouds team. He was responsible for deploying, securing, and maintaining services in highly secure M365 sovereign clouds. He gained proficiency in designing robust systems and writing clean code, primarily developing tools in C# while acquiring experience with AngularJS, PowerShell, and Shell scripting. Before joining Microsoft, Samarth worked as a Software Developer Intern at SAP, where he designed and developed an improved prototype for the Global Tax Management System. He used Axure RP tool to create mock-ups that helped in refining the requirements for the enhanced product. He also conducted brainstorming sessions to gather feedback and discussed ideas, using SAP Fiori Design Guidelines to improve the user experience. Samarth has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, where he is currently pursuing his degree. He also has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Delhi Technological University. He completed his schooling from Bal Bharati Public School, Rohini.
