About
Sambashiva Srisailapathy is a seasoned professional with 16.87 years of experience in media strategy and marketing. He currently serves as the Regional Senior Manager for Media Strategy at GrabAds, a key member of the direct sales organization. In this role, Sambashiva is responsible for enabling and enhancing full integrated marketing solutions for global and SEA's most beloved brands, including FMCG, F&B, Telco & Tech, eCommerce, Consumer Electronics, and other key verticals on Grab's Super App Ecosystem. He works closely with the regional sales leads, country sales leads, product, data, ad operations, sales enablement, and BD teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery of results. Prior to his current role, Sambashiva founded Put Helmet India, an independent initiative that rallies to make wearing a helmet a habit and riding safe a norm in India. He also served as part of the Screening Council for MMA Smarties APAC 2020, where he helped honor the most effective modern marketing across the Asia Pacific region. Sambashiva holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Anna University, where he graduated in 2008. He also attended Modern Senior Secondary School, where he completed his secondary education in 1992. Sambashiva is a cross-functional team player with a passion for driving results through collaboration and innovation. He brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his role at GrabAds and is committed to delivering value to his clients and stakeholders.
