Sameer Jade is a self-motivated and hardworking software QA tester with over four years of experience in manual and automated testing of ANSYS simulation software products. He has a solid technical background in mechanical engineering with a focus on FEA (finite element analysis). Sameer is ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level (CTFL), USA. He possesses excellent communication skills, is a quick learner, team player with problem-solving skills. Sameer has worked as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Leica Geosystems part of Hexagon, where he is responsible for ensuring the quality of software products. He has also worked as a Testing Engineer at ANSYS, where he was the key tester for ANSYS AIM simulation software. Sameer performed manual and automated testing for ANSYS AIM, Workbench, and DesignXplorer products. He created detailed test plans, test cases for feature user stories, participated in end-to-end product testing, and feature-focused exploratory testing of ANSYS AIM. Sameer has relevant experience in test, QA, Python, and Java. He has 12.37 years of experience in the field. Sameer's achievements include finding critical defects in pre-merge testing, submitting over 500 defects in Rally resulting in fixing of critical issues in the software and overall improvement of product quality, leading the testing for ANSYS AIM performance team, and maintaining the overall regression pass rate to over 90% by continuous maintenance. He completed the Introduction to ANSYS SpaceClaim and Fluent training.
