Sameer Mandge is a highly experienced product leader with over 7.75 years of product management and development experience across various domains including e-commerce, payments, health and safety, and software engineering. He is passionate about building products that positively influence people's behavior and make a significant impact on their lives. Currently, he is the Director of Products at GoKwik, where he is working to democratize customer experience and intelligence for Indian merchants in the e-commerce/D2C space. Before joining GoKwik, Sameer worked at Amazon, where he served as a Senior Product Manager for the Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team. In this role, he was responsible for reducing recordable injury rates by launching a Learning Management System for self-guided and instructor-led training models, a Content Management System to manage trainings based on incidents, injuries, and ergo triggers, and a Training Reporting System to provide in-house intelligence to managers and employees to track their progress on trainings. He also ideated Amazon Halo wearables pilot for health improvement of Associates at sites and at home, partnered to pilot Modjoul and Soter wearables to reduce MSD risks of Associates in real-time at sites, and partnered to launch an Observations platform to gather leading indicators at Associates' point of work to mitigate discomforts in real-time. Sameer's other responsibilities at Amazon included being a squad leader for IN WLBR group, to liaison with Central WebLab team and IN WLBR group, and partnering in creating WHS-Tech OP (operational planning) narratives and LRP (long-range planning) narratives for 2020 and 2021. He also led the MBR program and All Hands (including Rewards & Recognition) as a key employee engagement initiative. Sameer holds an MBA in Information Management from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research and a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical/Space Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He also completed his High School education from Rustomji High School and S. B. E. S. College of Science.
