Sameer Shanbhag is an Engineer at Qualcomm with almost 4 years of experience as a full-stack developer. Sameer has worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Qualcomm, where he delivered an end-to-end testing solution with a complete CI/CD architecture. He migrated from Automated Test Systems for Algorithms (ATSA) to Kymera Automated Test Systems (KATS) for testing Audio DSP algorithms. Sameer also developed a Python analysis script used by KATS, from MATLAB, and proved the sanity of the script using Automated Evaluation script developed in Python. He collaborated with the team members to understand the basics of Audio Digital Signal Processing Analysis and improved the workflow by migrating to KATS framework, making it easier for the developer to implement new analysis. Sameer has also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where he collaborated with a team of fellow developers and Professor for Delivering and Supporting Integrated Genome Browser, built-in Java using OSGi Framework. He developed an Appstore using Python-based Django Framework, allowing developers to develop and publish IGB apps. Sameer contributed to Complete End to End Testing and Deployment of the Appstore on Amazon AWS EC2 with the help of the app store team and later integrated it with IGB making it scalable. Sameer's education history includes a Master of Science - MS in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina, a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology from SIES College, and a High School degree in Science from SIES College of Arts, Science & Commerce. Sameer's relevant experience is 5.79 years, and his tech stack includes Python, Software Engineer, Javascript, Typescript, CI/CD, Java, Research Scientist, AWS, and AngularJS.
