Sameer Shisodia is an accomplished CEO with over 19 years of experience in the tech industry. He is currently the CEO of Rainmatter Foundation, where he is working on ideas that he has always been passionate about, including creating a greener economy and rewilding the planet. Sameer is an expert in information extraction and text mining, search, compilers, product management, and strategy. Prior to his current role, Sameer founded and served as CEO of Linger Leisure and Beforest Lifestyle Solutions, where he also served as CFO. He has also worked as a product advisor for Mobisy Technologies and Reverie Language Technologies. Sameer has a wealth of experience in mobile search startups, having worked at Ziva from 2005 to 2009, where he did almost everything for the company. He also worked as a Content Search Product Development Lead at Yahoo in 2005 and as an Information Extraction Lead from 2004 to 2005. Before that, Sameer was an R&D Prototyping Lead at Oracle from 2001 to 2004 and worked on RDBMS porting from 1998 to 2001. He began his career at Wipro/Sequent as a Base OS cmd level maintainer from 1996 to 1998. Sameer holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Loyola College and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from BIT Mesra Student-Industry Relations Cell. He is proficient in search, product management, and mobile technology. In addition to his impressive professional achievements, Sameer is also passionate about farming and is the former Chief Farming Officer of Beforest and The Farming Collective. He is currently working on the Tamarind Valley Collective, which aims to provide good farming options for those interested in investing in sustainable agriculture. Sameer is always interested in connecting with others who share his passion for creating a greener, more sustainable future.
