Sameera Sy is a highly motivated and passionate Product Engineer at Cashfree, with over 7 years of relevant experience in the field of software engineering. She completed her Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from PES Institute of Technology in 2016. Sameera is a self-learner and a team player, always looking for opportunities to contribute to technological innovation. Sameera is extremely passionate about OpenStack, AWS, and Big Data, and has been working on various projects in these areas to gain experience with the latest technologies. She is also an avid competitive coder, frequently participating in online coding competitions on sites such as HackerRank and LeetCode. Throughout her career, Sameera has worked with some of the top companies in the industry, including Ola and VMware. While at Ola, she was part of the Partner Acquisition and Referrals team, where she developed and designed the Lead Management System that handles complete state transition workflow for potential OLA partners. Sameera implemented complete User Access Management and Activity Logging for Audit, among other core features of multiple applications from scratch. She also worked on several third-party integrations as part of the product, apart from making the application schema agnostic using MongoDB and Morphia. At VMware, Sameera was a Member of Technical Staff in the Storage Availability Business Unit. She has a strong technical background in AWS, MongoDB, Big Data, Java, and Spring, making her a valuable asset to any team she works with. Aside from her work experience, Sameera is also an active contributor to the tech community, with a strong presence on GitHub, Stack Overflow, and her personal website.
