Sameera Turupu is a dynamic and driven Software Engineer II at Microsoft, with a passion for solving complex problems and a desire to make her mark in the software industry. With over 5 years of relevant experience, Sameera has a proven track record of success in cross-platform application development following agile environments. Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science at Georgia State University, Sameera has also worked as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant. As a Graduate Research Assistant, she worked on an NSF-supported project and developed web scrapers to collect data from suspicious websites, engineered an automatic captcha-solving system using Tesseract, and created automatic weekly business reports using Python, Selenium, and SQL. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Sameera tutored undergraduate students for Design & Analysis of Algorithms and supervised the laboratory work of 60 students. Sameera's technical expertise includes Software Engineering, Research Science, Azure, SQL, Selenium, Python, PHP, and Web. She has also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Microsoft, where she worked on the Azure Compute Batch Service.
