Samhitha Sadanand is a highly experienced HR Manager with over 12 years of experience in the gaming industry. She is currently working as a Senior Human Resources Manager at nukebox studios, where she is responsible for managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, employee engagement initiatives, and employee connect sessions. She has also drafted competencies to be mapped per employee/hire and managing monthly 1:1 meetings, which correlates to annual appraisals. Samhitha is an excellent people manager who has built Engineering, Art, Game Design, Marketing, QA, and Product teams from less than 20 to 90+ members today. She has also managed headcount reports and attrition analysis, and advised management on risk categories of employees, challenges faced by employees, and infra improvement plans. She has created a master recruitment dashboard, defined recruitment process flow charts, and analyzed attendance and absenteeism, correlated with risk/red category employees. In her previous roles, Samhitha has worked as a Senior HR at moonfrog labs, where she hired product managers, developers, devOps engineers, artists, producers, art directors, and data scientists. She has also worked as a Technical Recruiter at GSN Games, where she built product and engineering teams. Samhitha holds an MBA in HR and Marketing from Visvesvaraya Technological University, JCE College, Mysore, and a BBM in HR from Teresian College, Mysore. She has experience in QA, infra, data science, research science, and devOps. Samhitha is passionate about games and is currently looking to hire marketing managers, game designers, game developers (Unity Engine), technical artists, and 2D & 3D artists.
